Join us to find out more about life with flowers!
My name is Yoko Stetson.
I'm a flower designer/instructor, and the owner of Four Nests.
I am born and raised in Japan. Helping out my mother, a garden designer in Japan, helped a basic knowledge of Japanese gardening aesthetic.
I started my florist training in England under Jane Packer and Caroline Dickenson. I am strongly inspired by one of the British floral masters, Kenneth Turner.
Since then I have been teaching flower design in London, New York and now in Austin, Texas.
The English landscape garden has a huge influence on my floral design.
However lately, I am reminiscent about my heritage.
I find so much similarities in respect for nature in both Japanese and British gardener / designers.
Also living in Hill country of Texas now helps to expand my design inspiration a bit wilder than before!
I love to share and shared flowers/gardening interests with many everyone.
Also help you to make your events, party special with fun and interesting cross culture ideas.
So please let me know if I can be any help!
